Eadweard Muybridge

I would really like to use some sort of documentary video in my project. One artist who I have previously touched upon is Eadweard Muybridge. I was fortunate enough to have seen his work in the Tate Britain during a trip to London. This exhibition was between 8 September 2010 – 16 January 2011. I like the way Muybridge captures the movements of the different models.

Eadweard Muybridge (9 April 1830 – 8 May 1904, born Edward James Muggeridge) was an English photographer important for his pioneering work in photographic studies of motion, and early work in motion-picture projection. He adopted the name Eadweard Muybridge, believing it to be the original Anglo-Saxon form of his name.
